Career adds 30 AI portraits and 30 banners per month (portraits at full 1024px), a 12-post monthly content plan, and 50 practice sessions per month. Pro raises those to unlimited portraits and banners, a 32-post content plan, unlimited practice sessions (max 10 per day), early access to new CV templates, and priority email support. What is the Active Job Hunt plan?

How does the Founding 100 program work?

We're opening 100 free Career-tier seats for our first cohort. Apply at /founding-100 — it takes 2 minutes. If you're approved, we email you a FOUNDING100 code that you redeem on the pricing page under "Have a promo code?". You get 60 days of Career free. We ask one thing in return: share one honest LinkedIn post about your experience within 7 days of your first download (link to maseera.ai). On day 50, members who shared their post get an in-app offer to lock in Career at $14/mo (vs $19) for as long as they stay subscribed. If you don't take the offer, free access ends on day 60.

What currency do you charge in?

Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD). Your card is billed the equivalent amount in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) by our payment partner — the exact EGP figure is shown on the checkout page before you confirm.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your account settings and you keep access until the end of your current paid period. We don't ask why, and we don't make you click through a dark-pattern survey.

What about refunds?

Full refund within 14 days of any charge — including renewals — by emailing contact@maseera.ai. After 14 days we don't refund, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your paid period. How does conversion work for non-Egyptian cards?

We display USD prices on Maseera. The payment partner converts to EGP at checkout and shows you that EGP amount before you confirm. Your bank then converts the EGP charge to your local currency (SAR, AED, GBP, EUR, etc.) at its own rate, which may include a small conversion fee.

Which AI does Maseera use?

Accepted Answer

We don't share details about our internal AI infrastructure. What matters: our AI runs through a secure server-side proxy (no credentials touch your browser), inputs are processed transiently, and your data is not used to train models. Email contact@maseera.ai for any specific compliance question.

Why did my generation fail?

Accepted Answer

Usually one of three things: (1) the AI returned an incomplete response — try again, the next call often succeeds; (2) the input was missing a required field (e.g. no target role); (3) you hit your plan's monthly quota. If it keeps failing, email us with the error details and we'll investigate.

Can I download my CV in Word?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both PDF and Word formats are available, in three template styles: Classic, Modern, and Minimal. The Arabic version uses an Arabic-friendly font automatically when you set the CV language to Arabic.

Why is the AI-generated photo locked to one identity?

Accepted Answer

To prevent abuse — paid AI photo tools are expensive to run, and we don't want them used to make professional headshots for arbitrary other people. The lock activates the first time you generate a paid photo and stays attached to your name. If you've changed your legal name, email us.

Question 17

Are the generated photos real?

Accepted Answer

No — they're AI-generated portraits based on your reference photo. They preserve your face but everything else (lighting, attire, background) is synthesised. If a recruiter or compliance team specifically asks for an unedited photograph, use a real one.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

In secure encrypted cloud storage with multi-region redundancy. Payments are processed by our licensed regional payment partner. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Is my data used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Our AI provider's commercial terms contractually prohibit using your inputs for model training. Inputs are processed and discarded — they're not retained for retraining.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — email contact@maseera.ai. We remove your account, all generated content, and usage logs from our active database within 24 hours, and from backups within 30 days. This is permanent.

What happens to my LinkedIn PDF when I import it?

Accepted Answer

It's parsed locally inside your browser — the file itself never leaves your device. Only the extracted text is sent to our AI to structure into profile fields. The text is processed and discarded; we don't store the raw extraction.

Why does Maseera ask for so few permissions?

Because we don't need more. We don't access your contacts, calendar, location, or microphone (except during a language-practice session, which only runs while you're on that page).

Why didn't LinkedIn auto-fill my headline?

Accepted Answer

LinkedIn's standard sign-in flow only shares name, email, photo, and locale. Headline, vanity URL, and detailed location require partner-tier access which LinkedIn rarely grants to small apps. Use the "Import from LinkedIn PDF" button on the profile page to grab those — LinkedIn lets you export your full profile as a PDF, and we'll parse it.

Does Maseera post to LinkedIn for me?

No — and we won't. Maseera generates the draft and copies the draft, then opens LinkedIn's composer. You read it, edit it in your own voice, and hit Post yourself. Automated posting is against LinkedIn's terms and looks robotic to your network.

Can Maseera track my LinkedIn followers and impressions?

Only if you tell us. LinkedIn's analytics API isn't available to small apps. We have two practical options: paste a screenshot of your LinkedIn analytics page (we OCR the numbers with AI), or type the numbers in manually. The growth widget on your dashboard tracks the trend over time from snapshots.

Click Generate on the LinkedIn pack and you get three optimized headline variants, achievement-focused experience bullets, and 20 recruiter-searched skills for your target role. Review and edit for accuracy, then copy and paste into LinkedIn yourself — Maseera never posts for you. It works in English and Arabic with full right-to-left support.

Free gives you one photo at 512px; Career gives 30 per month at full 1024px resolution; Pro is unlimited. These are AI renderings, not real photographs — if a recruiter or HR system explicitly asks for an unedited photo, use a real one.

How does Language Practice work?

Tap the mic and talk with an AI mentor for interview and meeting practice. It keeps listening through short pauses, gives inline corrections, and focuses on role-fit vocabulary and mock-interview scenarios. Career includes 50 sessions per month (max 5 a day); Pro is unlimited (max 10 a day). It needs Chrome, Edge, or Safari and a microphone.

Do I need to review what the AI writes?

Yes. The drafts are high-quality starting points, but you're responsible for checking all claims, dates, and metrics before you share them. And because the photos are AI renderings rather than traditional photographs, disclose that if a recruiter or HR system explicitly asks for an unedited image.

I paid but my account still shows Free

Accepted Answer

First check your email — our payment partner sends a receipt. Then sign out and back in to refresh your subscription state. If it's still Free after 10 minutes, email contact@maseera.ai with the order ID from your receipt and we'll unlock you within an hour.

My CV download is missing the experience section

Accepted Answer

This was a known bug caused by the AI returning an incomplete response — we fixed it in May 2026 with improved response handling. If you still see it, regenerate the CV; if the new generation also has it missing, email us a screenshot.

The Arabic posts in my content plan are translated from English

Accepted Answer

They shouldn't be — Arabic posts are written natively. If you see what looks like machine-translation, hit "Rewrite with AI" on that specific post (it now has a language toggle), or regenerate the whole plan. If the issue persists, send us one of the bad outputs by email.
